BAA Training joined Women of Aviation Worldwide Week (WOAW) inviting ladies to discover pilot career opportunities open not only for men.
According to global statistics, 9746 women are working as the first officers in the airlines worldwide and there are 2630 female captains. Female pilots represent just over 5% of all pilots in the world.
There could be many more! For example, India is the world leader with over 12% female first officers and more than 4% female captains flying for the airlines.
